Heritage day Promotion

Overview

The Heritage Day Promotion will run only on the 24th of September 2021. This will be a family event hosted outside and inside the Casino. Activities will be Kiddies games, braai, traditional food, attire including displaying other traditional items such as pottery. There will be a draw on the day for casino guests that are dressed up for Heritage Day. DJ Stax would provide live entertainment with his new song (Emaxhoseni).

 

Concept:

A family day divided into two activities, the non-gaming part which will be hosted outside where the following will take place:

There will be braai, boerewors rolls and the famous DJ Stax with the song (Emaxhoseni) will be entertaining the crowd. Local Traditional dancers will also create some entertainment. Welcome & vote of thanks will be done by the GM, Lex Fordyce and will also have our local poet doing magic with traditional Xhosa Poems. Kids will be entertained with Jumping castles and face painting, whilst parents will have time to visit different stalls set up outside showcasing traditional products and or food that will be on sale.

The indoor casino event will be the gaming activities, only over 18 years of age will be allowed to participate, and it will be on the gaming floor. Participants must dress in traditional wear to receive a draw ticket. Draw tickets and NRCs (new signup members) will be issued at the VIP desk. The draw and prize give away will take place at 17h00.

Eligibility to Enter the Promotion

  1. No person under the age of 18 can gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. This Promotion is only valid to Mayfair Casino Rewards Club Members.
  3. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  4. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  5. All decisions of Mayfair Casino are final, binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered.
  6. Any person transgressing the Rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  7. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the Rules by virtue of their participation.
  8. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  9. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged with the ECGB.
  10. The dates and times set for this promotion are not final, Mayfair Casino Management can and will change the dates should there be reasons that imposes otherwise.
  11. Receipts will only be available until 16:30 on the day of the draw.
  12. A breakdown of prizes and draws is attached as per “Prize Breakdown and Draw Schedule”
  13. Possible Prize Winners will be selected by a way of random drawing of tickets out of the Tombola. Draw times, dates, and criteria to earn tickets, will be advertised through approved advertising mediums used for this promotion. A breakdown of the prizes will be available at the VIP Reception Desk and announced prior to the draw on the draw day.
  14. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) by collecting draw tickets at VIP Reception in the Casino, on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s). The collection will be from 10h00 to 16h00 and tickets can be collected before the draw day and time. Draw times and Dates as well as the rules will be displayed and will be advertised through mediums used within the casino, Website, and social media.
  15. Prize Winners will be given 90 seconds to present themselves on stage and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket. They must present their SA ID document or Valid Passport or Valid Driver’s License. If their identity cannot be verified, then they will not be eligible, and a re-draw will take place.
  16. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw for another possible winner will take place.
  17. All Prizes are cash and not transferable unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  18. Four balloons will be displayed on stage with amount hidden inside each balloon.
  19. The ticket owner selected by random drawing of a ticket from the tombola will then get a chance to choose a favorite balloon and pop it to reveal the amount inside the balloon that he/she will claim.
  20. All decisions made by Mayfair Casino are final, binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  21. Any person in contravention of the Rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  22. In the event of technical failure or damage to the devices used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  23. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the Rules by virtue of their participation.
  24. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  25. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged with the ECGB.
  26. Each winner will be called out by Name/ Surname (Where readable) and the possible winning ticket Number verified with and by Marketing, Gaming, Surveillance and Security.
  27. Possible winners will be announced at the draw. Prizes can be claimed from the casino. Competition rules available at www.mayfaircasino.co.za or at the VIP Reception Desk.
  28. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, or through any other form of consideration
  29. All Covid Regulations will be adhered to during our draw date and time.
  30. All customers and Staff will remain wearing their masks even during photo shoots.
  31. For keeping required distance between patrons during the draw, all patrons to remain seated in their chairs and only the possible winner to come to the stage once his/her name/ticket number is called. PA system will be used to call out lucky customers to the stage.
  32. The draws will take place at 17h00 on the scheduled date.
  33. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) by collecting draw tickets at VIP Reception and putting them into the draw bin, on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) from 10h00 to 16h00. The draw bin closes at 16h45, 15 minutes before the commencement of the draw.
  34. Collection of the Draw Tickets from the VIP desk will close 1hour prior to the Draw time.
  35. Four tickets will be drawn in the draw.
  36. Cash Prizes to be won.

 

Promo Mechanics:

Exclusive to Mayfair Casino Cardholders, to qualify for the draw ticket, customers must wear traditional attire and claim their draw ticket at the VIP desk.

  1. To Qualify for the draw the customer must be a Mayfair Casino Cardholder or sign up into the program.
  2. The customer must dress up for Heritage Day with traditional attire to receive one draw ticket.
  3. Customers signing up for our reward program will also receive R50 NRC and a ticket into a draw.
  4. All carded customers will receive a voucher for a free boerewors roll between 10h00 and 15h00.
  5. The draw will be at 17h00.
